The Heathens beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 13-8, 17-4, 12-10. For The Heathens A.Woolloff 11, D.Holmes included a 6 in his 10, M.Sheridan, P.Soden & T.Downes all scored 7. T.Lach top scored for Penlon with 7 dolls.

Old Masters held The Fox to a 3-3 draw with leg scores of 14-9, 10-10, 7-10. For OM ‘The Barguss Boys’ each hit 10 dolls. In reply for the slightly inebriated Fox (aledgedly) N.Weston 9 & A.Bell 8.

Spread Eagle extended their lead at the top with a 6-0 win over College Oak. The leg scores were 18-14, 17-10, 15-6. For The Spread J.Simmons 13, M.Phillips 11, J.Bowler & G.Brown 10 each. In reply for The Oak D.Johns top scored with 7 dolls.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 17-6, 12-13, 8-5. For Utd. ‘B’ S.Martin 10, D.Harris 8, A.Gregory & P.Arnold each scored 7 dolls. For Utd. ‘C’ Jim Warrell & R.Pepperall 7 each.

Ab.Con. Club beat Ab. Legion 6-0 with leg scores of 12-10, 12-9, 15-12. For Con. Club P.Barrett 11, T.Barrett 9, J.Sims & B.Clapton 8 each. For The Legion P.Ealey & N.Hazell 7 each.

Spread Eagle beat Ab. Legion 6-0 with leg scores of 15-11, 15-12, 14-11. For The Spread J.Simmons & G.Brown 10 each, J.Bowler 9, M.Phillips 8 & S.Kinnaird 7. For The Legion N.Hazell 8, P.Ealey & D.Sapey 7 each.

Ab. Utd. ‘C’ recorded their 2^nd win of the season when beating College Oak 4-2. The leg scores were 8-12, 11-9, 10-9. For Utd. ‘C’ Jim Warrell 9 & I.Brown 8. In reply for The Oak A.Pocock 9 & D.Johns 8.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Old Masters 4-2 with leg scores of 11-8, 12-11, 10-15. For Utd. ‘B’ S.Martin 10, K.Souch 8 & D.Harris 7. For OM G.Barguss 11, J.Barguss9 & D.Coles 8. J.Pickard throwing like a 1 armed fisherman managed just 1 doll. To be fair it is his 1^st season in the indoor league and he will soon get used to the p*** taking.

The Fox beat Penlon 4-2 with leg scores of 11-9, 18-15, 11-14. For The Fox B.Parker returned to form with a vengeance hitting a cracking 3-6-5. He could have had a 3^rd leg 6 as well as he touched the doll with hist last stick but to his dismay did not topple. D.Cross hit 8 & A.Bell 7. For Penlon T.Lach 10, C.Crawford 9 & P.Stone 8. Penlons’ 38 dolls was their highest of the season.

The Heathens beat 4 man Ab. Utd. ‘A’ 6-0 with leg scores of 13-9, 18-13, 18-10. For the Heathens D.Holmes was 2^nd player tonight to hit 14 dolls. M.Sheridan10, T.Downes 9, P.Soden & A.Woolloff 8 each. For Utd. ‘A’ D.Davies 11, B.Duff 9 & I.Morrison 7.

Old Masters beat College Oak 6-0 with leg scores of 14-8, 11-9, 13-7. For OM J.Barguss 12, G.Barguss 10 & M.Hall 7. For The Oak A.Pocock & F.Tracey each scored 6 dolls. Don’t normally mention anyone scoring less than 7 but could not find anything else positive to say about them.

Spread Eagle beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 5-1 to go top of the ‘A’ section. The leg scores were 15-11, 17-6, 15-15. For The Spread J.Simmons 12, J.Bowler 10, S.Kinnaird & G.Brown 9 each & M.Phillips 7. In reply A.Gregory top scored with 12 dolls. D.Harris having blobbed in the first 2 legs needed 2 to win the 3^rd. He just managed it, scoring with his first & last sticks.

Ab. Con. Club beat The Heathens 4-2 with leg scores of 13-12, 13-10, 9-15. For The Con. Club T.Barrett 10, P.Barrett 9 & B.Clapton 8. For The Heathens A.Woolloff 9, T.Downes 8, D.Holmes & P.Soden 7 each.

Ab.Utd. ‘A’ beat The Fox 5-1 with leg scores of 14-14, 14-11, 17-15. For Utd. ‘A’ D.Davies & B.Duff 11 each, M.Davies 9 & T.Ward 8. For The Fox A.Bell 13, B.Parker 8 & D.Cross 7. The Fox have scored just 1 point in their last 2 games and Barry failed to hit double figures in either. It’s completely bum-fuzzling. Bet you’ll be looking that one up !

Ab. Legion beat Ab.Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 14-11, 9-12, 13-7. For The Legion C.Brind 13 & N.Hazell hit 10 – his 1^st double figures of the season. For Utd. ‘C’ Jim & Jon Warrell each scored 9 dolls.

Ab. Con. Club beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 6-0 with leg scores of 16-13, 16-5 (yes five), 13-12. For Con. Club T.Barrett 13, P.Barrett & J.Sims 9 each & B.Clapton 8. Their 45 dolls equalled their highest total so far. In reply for Utd. ‘B’ A.Gregory 8, S.Martin & D.Harris 7 each.

A close game saw Penlon beat 4 man Ab. Legion 4-2 with leg scores of 9-10, 11-7, 10-9. For Penlon T.Lach & C.Crawford 9 each. Connor needing 4 to win the 3^rd leg managed it but needed to score with his last 2 sticks. For The Legion B.Lacey & P.Ealey 7 each. Their 26 dolls was their lowest total of the season.

Spread Eagle inflicted the 1^st 6-0 defeat of the season on 4 man Fox. The leg scores were16-9, 17-7, 15-8. For The Spread J.Simmons, G.Brown & M.Phillips 11 each & J.Bowler 10. B.Parker top scored for The Fox with 8 dolls, failing to hit double figures for the 1^st time since the 1^st game of the season. Their 24 dolls was their lowest total of the season.

Four man Heathens beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 10-11, 13-11, 15-10. For The Heathens M.Sheridan 11, D.Holmes & A.Woolloff 10 each & T.Downes 7. For Utd. ‘C’ D.Warrell & Jon Warrell 8 each.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat College Oak 4-2 with leg scores of 9-9, 13-13, 15-11. For Utd. ‘A’ T.Ward 12, I.Morrison 8 & D.Davies 7. In reply for The Oak A.Pocock 10 & F.Tracey 7.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ missed the chance to go outright top of ‘B’ section but beat Penlon 4-2. The leg scores were 9-16, 11-7, 12-11. For Utd. ‘B’ S.Martin & P.Arnold 9 each. In reply for Penlon T.Lach 9 & C.Crawford 7.

The Fox beat Ab. Con. Club 6-0 with leg scores of 10-7, 13-6, 19-6. For The Fox B.Parker 11, A.Bell included a 6 in his 10, D.Cross & N.Weston 8 each. D.Butlers’ 1st leg blob was down to the mat not being straight – sorry Dave. The Con. Club were c**p. Enough said.

College Oak beat Penlon 4-2 with leg scores of 13-10, 11-9, 8-11. For The Oak A.Pocock 10 & D.Johns 7. In reply for Penlon T.Lach was top scorer with 11 dolls.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ Ab.Utd. ‘A’ 4-2 to draw level on points at the top of ‘B’ section. The leg scores were 9-14, 15-10, 14-11. For Utd. ‘B’ A.Gregory 10, S.Martin & D.Harris 9 each but Dave did include a 6 in his & K.Souch 7. For Utd. ‘A’ D.Davies 10, P.Wright 8 & B.Duff 7.

Spread Eagle beat The Heathens 4-2 with leg scores of 14-11,11-14, 17-14. For The Spread B.Newman hit 11 dolls – double figures in only his 2nd game this season. G.Brown also scored 11 & M.Phillips 9. In reply for The Heathens A.Woolloff 13, J.Ellaway hit 10 in his 1st ever indoor season – well done John. P.Soden weighed in with 7 dolls.

Four man College Oak beat The Heathens 4-2 with leg scores of 11-10, 11-9, 4-16. For The Oak A.Pocock & D.Johns 8 each & C.Bishop 7. For The Heathens D.Holmes 10 (his 1^st double figures of the season), A.Woolloff 9 & P.Soden 7. It was a case of Sheridan-less plus Downes-less = Clue-less.

Spread Eagle recorded their 3^rd 6-0 win on the trot when beating Penlon 17-11, 16-7, 13-7. For The Spread J.Simmons 11, S.Kinnaird hit 10 dolls (his 1^st double figures as well). M.Phillips also hit 10, G.Brown 8 & J.Bowler 7. In reply for Penlon T.Lach & M.Jeffries each hit 7. R.Holmes started badly and then got worse – he recorded 1-X-X.

The Fox beat Ab. Legion 6-0 (their 1^st 6-0 defeat of the season) with leg scores of 14-11, 18-15, 16-15. For The Fox B.Parker 12, D.Butler & A.Bell 11 each, D.Cross & N.Weston 7 each. For The Legion C.Brind hit a cracking 3-5-6, P.Ealey hit 10 & N.Hazell 8.

Ab. Utd. ‘C’ drew 3-3 with Ab. Con. Club with leg scores of 11-11, 7-12, 11-8. For Utd. ‘C’ D.Warrell 9 & Jon Warrell 8. For Con. Club P.Barrett 11 & B.Clapton 7. Their 31 dolls was their lowest of the season.

Old Masters recorded their 1^st 6-0 win of the season when beating 4 man Ab. Utd. ‘A’. The leg scores were 13-7, 15-12, 10-9. For OM G.Barguss 12, M.Hall & J.Barguss 10 each. For Utd. ‘A’ D.Davies 10, T.Ward 8 & I.Morrison 7.
