1994 Singles – 3 consecutive 6’s – over semi and final.
Recently our Honorary President John Simmons allowed me to borrow some old programmes from Finals Night
so we can continue to complete our Roll of Honour and our Old Programmes page.
In amongst them were these score sheets. These are accetate sheets for an overhead projector – all mod cons on finals in those days!
The interesting fact is that John got two 6’s in the last two legs of the Singles semi-final and then a 3rd 6 in the Singles Final’s 1st leg. 😀
Despite this achievement John came second to Dave Hudson. 😥
