Player Suspension – Committee Decision

At the Committee meeting held on 5th August, the Committee conducted a thorough review of the incident that occurred on 23 July.

Following careful consideration, it has been determined that the individual involved will be suspended from all matches for the remainder of the current season and throughout the entirety of the next season. The player may be eligible to reapply for participation in 2027.

While the suspension falls short of a lifetime ban—acknowledging the player’s expression of remorse and apology—the severity of the incident cannot be understated. The individual’s actions disrupted the match and raised serious concern among players from both teams.

Any recurrence of such behaviour will result in a permanent ban from this league.
