Old Masters beat The Fox 4-2 with leg scores of 14-11, 16-19, 20-8. For OM J.Barguss 13, T.Downes 12, G.Barguss included a 6 in his 10 & A.Woolloff 9. OM’s 50 dolls was their highest of the season. For The Fox D.Butler, N.Weston & B.Parker 9 each.

Ab. Legion beat Penlon 5-1 with leg scores of 16-8, 6-6, 14-7. For The Legion N.Hazell & D.Sapey 9 each, N.Tait & P.Ealey 7 each. For Penlon the only person getting a mention is J.Carter who hit no dolls at all, zero, zilch, not a sausage, b****r all….Penlons’ 21 dolls was their lowest total of the season.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ recorded their 3rd 6-0 victory on the trot in beating Ab. Utd. ‘A’ 12-5, 17-13, 14-10. For Utd. ‘B’ D.Holmes 10, I.Morrison 9, B.Clapton, D.Bowler & D.Davies 8 each. For ‘The Warrell Family’ Jim & Jonno 7 each & Dave hit 6. M.Ashmall hit his his highest total of the season – three. Wow. Utd. ‘A’s 28 dolls was their highest total of the season.

The Spread Eagle recorded their highest total of the season (46) in beating Ab. Con. Club 6-0. The leg scores were 12-9, 16-15, 18-16. For The Spread J.Simmons & J.Bowler 13 each, J.Driver 8 & G.Brown 7. For The Con. Club T.Barrett 12, J.Castle 10 & J.Sims 8. That’s three 6-0 defeats on the trot for Con. Club.

College Oak drew 3-3 with Ab. Utd. ‘C’ with leg scores of 14-14, 9-12, 14-12. For The Oak P.Soden 9, D.Cross & L.Clapton 8 each & A.Pocock 7. For Utd ‘C’ D.Harris hit 13 dolls. In the 1st leg he needed 6 to win and just missed with his last stick. He has been tested for taking performance enhancing drugs. S.Martin hit 10 & A.Gregory 9.

College Oak beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 13-8, 13-7, 21-7. For The Oak L.Clapton included a 6 in his 12 dolls, S.Enock 10, P.Soden & D.Cross 9 each & A.Pocock 7. Their 47 dolls was their highest total so far. For Penlon T.Lach & M.Jeffries 7 each. Marks 7 included a 3rd leg 5, missing with his last stick. V.Smith waited until his 18th stick before hitting the doll.

Old Masters beat Ab. Con. Club 6-0 with leg scores of 13-11, 13-11, 21-12. For OM A.Woolloff included a 6 in his 13, T.Downes 12, G.Barguss 8, M.Hall & J.Barguss 7 each. In reply for the Con. Club J.Simms 10 & J.Castle 8.

The Fox beat Ab. Legion 5-1 with leg scores of 15-8, 14-14, 14-12. For The Fox B.Parker 14, N.Nuttall 9, D.Butler 8 & P.Stone 7. For The Legion C.Brind 11 & N.Tait 9.

Ab. Utd. ‘C’ drew 3-3 with Ab. Utd. ‘A’ with leg scores of 8-4, 7-7, 7-10. For Utd. ‘C’ nobody scored very many and everyone scored very few. Helen throwing like a clapped out Polish pole dancer managed 1-1-1. Their 22 dolls was their lowest total so far. J.Bussey top scored for Utd. ‘A’ with 7 dolls. M.Fenton managed just 1 doll. Mick, have you thought of standing with your back to the doll and throwing them between your legs. Might be worth a try.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ consolidated their lead in the ‘A’ section after a 6-0 win over Spread Eagle. The leg scores were 14-13, 16-14, 16-14. For Utd. ‘B’ T.Ward 13, D.Holmes 12, B.Clapton 8 & D.Davies 7. For The Spread G.Brown hit a cracking 4-5-6 & J.Simmons 12.

Spread Eagle came from behind (good skill) to beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 10-11, 20-11, 16-10. For The Spread J.Simmons hit a cracking 4-6-5, J.Bowler (making his first appearance) 10, G.Brown & M.Phillips 8 each. The Spreads’ 46 dolls was their highest so far this season. For Utd. ‘C’ S.Martin 9 & A.Gregory hit 7.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ won their first game of the season after a 4-2 win over Penlon, leaving them as the only team not to won a game. The leg scores were 10-8, 7-9, 11-5. For Utd. ‘A’ Jon Warrell top scored with 8 dolls. Their 28 dolls was their highest so far. In reply T.Lach top scored with 9. J.Carter started badly then got worse and scored 2 dolls. R.Holmes throwing like a Peruvian brothel keeper also managed 2.

Ab. Legion beat Old Masters 4-2 with leg scores of 12-10, 14-11, 11-16. For Legion C.Brind 12 & D.Sapey 9. For OM G.Barguss & A.Woolloff 9 each, T.Downes & J.Barguss 7 each. Less said the better….

College Oak inflicted the 1st defeat of the season on The Fox in beating them 4-2 with leg scores 14-14, 15-12, 12-12. For The Oak L.Clapton 12, S.Enock 8, P.Soden, A.Pocock & D.Cross 7 each. For The Fox D.Butler 10, R.Berry 9, N.Weston 8 & B.Parker 7.

The Fox beat Ab. Utd. ‘A’ 6-0 with leg scores of 13-9, 16-9, 11-6. For The Fox B.Parker top scored with 13 despite being under a certain amount of pressure, D.Butler 12 & N.Weston 8. The Foxs’ 40 dolls was their lowest of the season. For Utd. ‘A’ R.Pepperell 8 & Jim Warrell 7. M.Ashmall throwing like a knock knee’d

Australian sheep shearer managed just 1 doll. Matt there is a Wednesday night crib league. Just a thought.

Despite recording their lowest total of the season Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat a lacklustre Old Masters 4-2. The leg scores were 12-17, 11-10, 15-6 (yes six). For Utd, ‘B’ D.Davies 10, D.Holmes & D.Bowler 8 each. For OM G.Barguss 9 & T.Downes 8. OM scored more dolls in their 1st leg than the other 2 put together.

Spread Eagle beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 12-7, 15-8, 17-10. For The Spread J.Simmons 11, S.Kinnaird 10, G.Brown 9 & M.Phillips 8. For Penlon T.Lach top scored with 7 dolls. Their 25 dolls was their lowest of the season.

Ab. Con. Club overtook The Legion at the top of ‘B’ section after a 6-0 win over Ab. Utd. ‘C’. The leg scores were 11-8, 12-10, 13-8. For Con. Club P.Wiblin 11, T.Barrett 9 & R.North 7. For Utd. ‘C’ A.Gregory 8 & S.Martin 7.

The Fox clanged off 53 dolls in beating Spread Eagle 6-0 with leg scores of 19-13, 18-11, 16-15. For The Fox D.Butler & B.Parker 13 each, N.Weston 10, N.Nuttall 9 & D.Rusher 8. In reply for The Spread J.Simmons (look John, no d) 13 & G.Brown 11.

Old Masters beat College Oak 4-2 with leg scores of 17-11, 17-15, 13-16. For OM G.Barguss 13, T.Downes 11, J.Barguss 9, M.Hall & A.Woolloff 7 each. For The Oak L.Clapton 13, D.Cross 11 & A.Pocock 7.

Ab. Con. Club beat Penlon 4-2 which meant Penlon gained their fisrt points of the season. The leg scores were 16-9, 17-11, 10-11. For Con. Club P.Wiblin 10, M.Haynes & T.Barrett 9 each, J.Sims 8 & J.Castle 7. For Penlon V.Smith 8, T.Phipps & M.Jeffries 7 each although Mark did blot his copybook with a 3rd leg blob.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat their ‘C’ counterparts 6-0 with leg scores of 21-10, 16-7, 15-10. For Utd. ‘B’ D.Davies & I.Morrison 12 each, T.Ward 10, B.Clapton & D.Bowler 9 each. Their 52 dolls was their highest so far. For Utd. ‘C’ S.Martin & D.Harris 7 each.

Ab. Legion beat Ab. Utd. ‘A’ 4-2 with leg scores of 8-12, 16-5, 10-7. For Legion D.Sapey 9, N.Tait & C.Brind 8 each. Dave, if you could pick all 6 sticks up at once we could get through the games a bit quicker (that’s me off his xmas card list). ‘The Scarecrow Boys’ also picked up their 1st points of the season with R.Pepperell & Jon Warrell each scoring 8 dolls. M.Fenton, throwing like an overweight race horse jockey with piles managed just 1 doll.
