Game reports.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 5-1 with leg scores of 17-9, 15-11, 14-14. For Utd. ‘B’ D.Holmes & D.Bowler 11 each, D.Davies 10, B.Clapton & I.Morrison 7 each. For Utd. ‘C’ A.Gregory included a 6 in his 12 & S.Martin hit 8.

Ab. Con. Clubs’ lowest total of the season (32) was enough to overcome Penlon 4-2. The leg scores were 11-6, 9-11, 12-5. For Con. Club T.Barrett 9 & J.Castle 8. For Penlon….. well, for once words fail me. You must score 7 to get a mention….so there’s a target for you boys. (Might have to make an exception for you though).

The Fox beat Spread Eagle 4-2 with leg scores of 13-11, 13-19, 14-12. For The Fox B.Parker 11, D.Butler, N.Nuttall & N.Weston 8 each. In reply for The Spread J.Simmons 12, G.Brown 11 & M.Phillips 7

Old Masters beat College oak 4-2 with leg scores of 16-13, 16-14, 12-14. For OM J.Barguss 12, T.Downes 9, G.Barguss & A.Woolloff 8 each & M.Hall 7. For The Oak L.Clapton 12, P.Soden & C.Crawford 8 each & S.Enock 7.

Ab. Legion beat Ab. Utd. ‘A’ 4-2 with leg scores of 8-5, 11-7, 10-12. For The Legion N.Tait top scored with 11 dolls. For Utd. ‘A’ Jim Warrell 9 & R.Pepperell 8. Won’t say to much about M.Ashmalls’ dreaded X-X-X as he is a b****y nice bloke – c**p at Aunt Sally, but a b****y nice bloke.

Regards

Tosh

p.s. Don’t forget Matts’ Quiz Night on Friday (10th) at 8 o’clock. The Club would appreciate your support. I thought I heard there was £500 up for grabs, but I might have got that wrong. Interested ? – speak to Matt.
