Game reports.

A ‘funny old game’ saw The Fox beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 10-9, 21-13, 10-7 (check them scores out).

For The Fox N.Nuttall12, M.Sheridan hit 1-6-1, D.Butler & B.Parker also scored 8 dolls each. In reply for Penlon V.Smith 9 & T.Lach 8.

A cracking game saw Old Masters beat Ab. Utd. ‘A’ 4-2 with leg scores of 14-13, 14-15, 17-13. For OM A.Woolloff throwing like a Dutch speed skater on E’s included a 6 in his 14 dolls, G.Barguss & T.Downes each hit 10. For Utd. ‘A’ J.Gapper 11, G.Brown 10 & S.Pugh 9. OM’s 45 dolls equalled their highest total of the season despite 2 blobs.

Ab.Legion beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 with leg scores of 14-11, 16-9, 12-20. For The Legion D.Sapey 11, J.Driver 10, P.Ealey 8 & N.Hazell 7. In reply for Utd. ‘B’ M.Louch included a 6 in his 11 dolls (his first double figures of the season), D.Davies 9, P.Mulford & I.Morrison 7 each.

Spread Eagle beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 6-0 with leg scores of 11-8, 13-8, 15-13. For The Spread J.Bowler 10, R.Worrell 9, S.Kinnaird & B.Newman 7 each. For Utd. ‘C’ S.Martin top scored with 8 dolls. This was the Spreads first 6-0 win of the season & Utd. ‘C’s first 6-0 defeat.

Ab.Con. Club beat College Oak 4-2 with leg scores of 10-8, 11-20, 14-12. For Con. Club a back to form O.Gill top scored with 11, T.Barrett 8 & J.Castle 7. M.Haynes managed a 1-1-1 ‘Nelson’, 1 eye, 1 arm, 1 b**l. (Lets see if Paul edits this). In reply for The Oak P.Soden 11, A.Pocock 10 & F.Tracey 7.

p.s. Don’t forget its competitions next week (24th) and all Captains have copies of this so no excuses for not knowing who’s playing. Anyone asking what competition’s are being played will be totally ignored.
