Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 6-0 with leg scores of 8-6, 17-8,14-9. For Utd. ‘A’ D.Davies 10, N.Nuttall 9, P.Wright 8 & B.Duff 7. For Utd. ‘C’ Jon Warrell top scored with 6. Utd. ‘C’s 23 dolls was their highest total so far this season.
Ab. Legion beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 15-8, 9-7, 12-11. For The Legion D.Sapey 9, B.Lacey & P.Ealey 8 each & N.Hazell 7. For Penlon I.Morrison 9 & T.Lach 8.
Spread Eagle recorded their 5th 6-0 win on the trot. Their victims were Ab. Con. Club and the leg scores were 13-9, 19-14, 15-12. For The Spread M.Phillips 12, J.Simmons 11, J.Bowler 10 & D.Mott 8. In reply for Con. Club B.Clapton 10, T.Barrett & M.Haynes 9 each.
Old Masters beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 with leg scores of 16-10, 12-15, 10-9. For OM A.Pocock 11, M.Neal & J.Barguss 8 each. For Utd. ‘B’ S.Martin 11 & K.Souch 8.
The Fox recorded their highest total of the season (50) to beat The Heathens 6-0, The leg scores were 16-7, 14-10, 20-12. For The Fox B.Parker followed up last weeks’ 1-6-6 with a brilliant 6-5-5, D.Butler & D.Fletcher 9 each, A.Bell & S.Enock 8 each. In reply for The Heathens T.Downes top scored with 7. What did I say last week about The Heathens only doing 6-0’s. Their total of 29 dolls equalled their lowest of the season last week. I think ‘rigor mortis’ has now set in.
