Penlon beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 14-12, 14-10, 11-13. For Penlon ‘late comer’ I.Morrison top scored with 9 dolls & P.Wright hit 7. In reply for Utd. ‘C’ M.James 9 and C.Keeley 7. Claire had the dreaded XXX. Keep at it girl !!
Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Spread Eagle ‘A’ 4-2 with leg scores of 14-17, 18-14, 19-15. For Utd. ‘A’ T.Ward recorded his highest total of the season (12) and B.Parker also hit 12, D.Dix 11, D.Davies 10 and K.Fisher 6. For The Spread J.Simmons 10, J.Gapper & J.Bowler 9 each and S.Kinnaird 8.
Ab. Legion beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 and the leg scores were 17-16, 14-15, 19-12. For Legion C.Brind 11, N.Hazell 10, S.Champ & P.Ealey 8 each. In reply S.Martin returned to form to hit 13 (his highest total this season), J.Lessi……J.Lezia…… J.Lesiac…..Jason hit 6 dolls along with R.Taylor.
Spread Eagle ‘B’ kept The Heathens off top spot (b******s) when beating them 4-2 with leg scores of 16-14, 19-16, 16-17. For Spread ‘B’ N.Weston top scored with 13 – isn’t it time you had another cruise Nigel lol. I.Brook hit his first double figures (10), A.Bell & L.Clapton 9 each. For The Heathens P.Adams 11, B.Townsend & T.Downes 10 each, P.Longford and A.Woolloff 8 each.
Ab. Con. Club ensured all 5 matches tonight finished 4-2 when beating The Vine by that score. The leg scores were 16-13, 15-12, 12-14. For Con. Club T.Barrett 9, P.Barrett 7, D.Todd, M.Neal and B.Clapton all scored 6. For The Vine D.Hamilton included a blob in his 8, R.Harrison & J.Pownceby 7 each and J.Hamilton 6. Karon Gomm making her winter league debut had 2 blobs but managed a 2 in the 3rd leg. Well done Karon.
