Game reports.

Spread Eagle beat Ab. Con. Club 6-0 with leg scores of 17-14, 16-13, 17-8. For The Spread M.Phillips clanged off 14 dolls, J.Simmons 11, J.Bowler 10 & G.Brown 9. In reply for Con. Club T.Barrett 10, P.Wiblin & B.Clapton 8 each.

College Oaks’ highest total of the season (42) took The Fox (and everyone else) by surprise as they beat them 5-1. Would have been worse had B.Parker not hit 5 to draw the 2nd leg. For The Oak J.Knight 10 (his 1st double figures of season), A.Pocock 9, C.Bishop & D.Johns 8 each & V.Smith 7. For The Fox A.Bell 12, B.Parker 10 & N.Weston 9. R.Nicholls asked me not mention his 2 dolls, but you know me. Sorry Rog.

The Heathens lowest total of season (34) was just enough to beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 who also recorded their lowest of the season (27). The leg scores were 14-9, 10-12, 10-6. For The Heathens T.Downes 10, A.Woolloff 9 & D.Holmes 8. Won’t say anything about Mike Woods’ 2 dolls as he is an Indoor League ‘virgin’. For Utd. ‘B’ S.Martin top scored with 7.

A low scoring game saw Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Penlon 4-2. Both teams recorded their lowest totals although they both only had 4 players. The leg scores were 7-8, 11-8, 8-5. For Utd. ‘A’ D.Davies 8 & B.Spicer 7. For Penlon T.Lach again was top scorer, this week hitting 9 dolls. Won’t say to much about P.Stone hitting only 2 dolls as he is a b****y nice bloke – besides he helps me out with IT.

Old Masters beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 4 (yes 4) -6, 12-7, 14-10. For OM G.Barguss, J.Lesiakowski & J.Barguss each scored 7. Their 4 in the 1st leg equalled the lowest of any team this season. In reply for Utd. ‘C’ Jon Warrell top scored with 8 dolls.

Regards
