Website on Mobiles – Menus

It appears there’s a ‘glitch’ with the yellow subscriber bar at the top of the main screen. On a mobile device you cannot access the menus (3 bars) on the top left. This is why the scorecard, league table and other buttons are there but on a mobile they appear at the bottom of the entire page (I’ve tried pushing them to the top, ain’t happening).  On a desktop they are just on the top left!

The alternatives are:

  1. Stick an email address in and subscribe. ATM the mailchimp email system isn’t working anyway! 🙁 This allows the site menu to be activated.
  2. Switch your mobile browser to Desktop site or desktop mode using its own menu/settings. This allows the full site menu to appear

We are in discussions with a new web developer (£££) to revamp the site so if you have ideas on how to improve it just email us. What would YOU like to see?
Alternatively, if you can develop in PHP/MySQL/Wordpress and want to get involved voluntarily and save the league some money also get in touch by email!

Thanks again for your support and patience,

    Hi Paul

Great News you have new website developer, my suggestions are
    1) under Complete players by team by week add Totals for each leg ( I realise makes page wider, but always useful to see leg scores when weighing up opposition!
    2) new league table for top 10 averages by division ( so not just total dolls top 10) as some players with good averages don’t show up if they have missed a few matches, it’s nice to try and get in top19 even if you do have a few holidays!)

    Keep up the good work

    Cheers

    Steve Fernback

Ps when do we know dates for lower Division pairs competition please as we have interest in that again

Steve – if you hover over the match score on the players week by week scoresheet you’ll see the leg scores although they are a bit greyed out (which I can’t fix it seems). Easy on a PC slightly harder on a mobile.

Keep your eyes peeled for Section Top 20 Players by Average report coming soon!

This is maybe the wrong place to ask this question but I couldn’t find anywhere else.
My question is if a match is cancelled because we couldn’t field a team due to 4 players being involved in an RTA, When does this match need to be rescheduled for?

    Cancelled matches see rule 3.5.
We need to know if a match is played out of sequence as the scorecard has to be specially entered.
As a courtesy we expect any ‘normal’ cancellations to be done at least 24hrs in advance so venues aren’t preparing food unnecessarily.

    Hope that helps.
