Old Masters beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 11-10, 14-15, 13-7. For OM M.Hall 10, A.Woolloff 9 & G.Barguss 8. T.Downes thinking OM were on at 8-15 turned up late and was not able to play, but it was not a total disaster as the next match report will point out. In reply for Ab. Utd. ‘C’ A.Gregory 10 & D.Harris 7.
Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Ab. Utd. ‘A’ 4-2 with leg scores of 12-16, 19-15, 14-11. For Utd. ‘B’ T.Downes (guesting) included a 6 in his 13 dolls, D.Holmes 10, D.Davies 9 & B.Clapton 7. For Utd. ‘A’ J.Gapper 10, B.Duff 9, L.Clapton & B.Spicer 8 each and P.Wright 7.
Ab. Legion beat Spread Eagle 4-2 with leg scores of 7-13, 16-14, 9-8. For The Legion N.Hazell 10, D.Sapey 8 & B.Lacey 7. For The Spread B.Newman, J.Bowler & M.Chadwick (guesting) 8 each & C.Smith (guesting) 7.
Ab. Con. Club beat Penlon 4-2 with leg scores of 8-9, 9-6, 13-9. T.Barrett top scored for Con. Club with 9 dolls. For Penlon M.Jeffries got 7. If either of you need another player next season Stevie Wonder is looking for a game.
The Fox beat College Oak 5-1 with leg scores of 14-14, 18-13, 16-11. For The Fox B.Parker included a 6 in his 13, N.Weston 12, D.Butler 10 & M.Rusher 8. For The Oak P.Soden 12, A.Pocock 10 & S.Enock 8. F.Tracey could not make it after dentists appointment earlier in the day where I think he had a wisdom tooth ‘put in’.
