Ab. Utd. ‘A’ leapfrogged The Fox after beating them 5-1. The leg scores were 13-10, 17-13, 18-18. For Utd. ‘A’ T.Ward 13, L.Clapton 12, G.Brown 9 & P.Wright 8. For The Fox D.Butler 13, N.Weston 11 & M.Sheridan 8 (the first time he failed to hit double figures this season). The Fox chasing 19 to win the 3rd leg looked to be on course after three 5’s and a two but Barry managed just 1 doll to draw the 3rd leg. It’s a funny old game!! It’s going to be an interesting finale to the season.

Tosh

p.s. I know I’m always saying about supporting the football cards and buying rolls because we need the money but last week really did take the biscuit. At the end of the night there was Brian, Bert, Simon, Jason and myself and established that we had bought 10 rolls between us, leaving the other 45 of you to buy the other 14 between you. Pathetic! Funny how you seemed to turn into a flock of vultures when there was free food to be had at Xmas. Perhaps I should intoduce a £20 registration fee for each team next season and do away with the rolls. There’s food for thought.
