Game reports.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Spread Eagle’C’ 6-0 with leg scores of  10-3, 12-1, 12-2.  For Utd. ‘B’ S.Martin 9. K.Empson & Dave ‘Bomber’ Harris 7 each and M.Putt 6.  What can I say about Spread ‘C’ other than their score card looked like a Littlewoods Pools coupon.  Cows a**e and banjo springs to mind.  Their total of 6 dolls is the lowest I can recall and I have records going back to 04-05 season.

The Heathens beat Ab. Legion 6-0 with leg scores of 13-8, 15-14, 15-12.  For The Heathens D.Butler 11, P.Longford 9, D.Holmes & A.Woolloff  8 each and T.Downes 7.  In reply for The Legion C.Brind 10, P.Ealey 9 & S.Champ hit 7.

4 man Spread Eagle ‘A’ came from a leg down to win 4-2 against Ab. Con. Club,  with leg scores of  6-8, 13-8, 12-11.  For The Spread J.Bowler 10 including a 3rd leg 4 to secure the win, J.Gapper 8, S.Kinnaird 7 and B.Newman 6.  For Con. Club D.Todd 9, P.Barrett 8 & B.Clapton 6.

Spread Eagle ‘B’ inflicted a fourth straight 6-0 defeat on Ab. Utd. ‘C’.  The leg scores were 10-5, 16-10, 12-9.  N.Weston top scored for Spread ‘B’ and included a 6 in his 10, B.Stowell, S.Enock & L.Clapton 8 each, though Leigh did have a blob in his.  For Utd. ‘C’ C.Keeley 7 and Claire Foster hit 6.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat a spirited 4 man Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 13-11, 19-11, 16-14.  For Utd. ‘A’ D.Dix hit 5-5-5, B.Parker 11, B.Duff 10 And D.Davies 9.  In reply for Penlon P.Wright 13, D.Bellcourt 7 and I.Morrison hit 6.
