Spread Eagle beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 15-9, 12-17, 12-10. For The Spread ‘Debut Boy’ D.Mott included a 6 in his 12 dolls, B.Worrell & N.Tame 8 each. In reply for Utd. ‘C’ S.Martin 10, A.Gregory 9, K.Souch & D.Harris 7 each.

The Fox beat a spirited Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 16-13, 17-15, 13-11. For The Fox B.Parker 12, D.Butler included a 6 in his 11, G.Chambers 9 & M.Sheridan 8. For Penlon T.Lach hit a cracking 3-5-6 & V.Smith 9. Penlons 39 dolls was their highest total of the season so far.

College Oak beat Ab. Con. Club 4-2 with leg scores of 11-9, 16-10, 12-15. For The Oak S.Enock 12, D.Cross & A.Pocock 7 each. For Con. Club M.Rusher (guesting) hit 11 dolls & O.Gill 8.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Old Masters 6-0 with leg scores of 13-10, 20-13, 18-16. For Utd. ‘A’ L.Clapton hit a fine 13, G.Brown 12, J.Gapper & B.Carter 10 each. For OM G.Barguss, making his first appearance of the season also hit 13 dolls, M.Hall & T.Downes 9 each. B.Lewis (throwing like an overweight race horse jockey with piles) managed just 2 dolls. Utd. ‘A’s highest total of the season coincided with OM’s lowest.

After 3 straight defeats Ab. Utd. ‘B’ bounced back with a 5-1 win over Ab. Legion. The leg scores were 13-6, 13-13, 13-6. For Utd. ‘B’ B.Clapton hit 13 dolls (the last time that happened The Titanic was still afloat), P.Mulford 8 & D.Davies 7. For The Legion P.Ealey hit 8 dolls but the rest were c**p.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Ab. Con. Club 4-2 with leg scores of 15-8, 11-16, 14-10. For Utd. ‘B’ P.Mulford 10, D.Davies & I.Morrison 8 each, B.Clapton & M.Louch 7 each. For Con. Club J.Castle 12 & J.Sims 7. R.North managed just 3 dolls – have you tried standing with your back towards the doll & throwing the sticks between your legs Ron. ( I shouldn’t take the p**s really, but you know me ). Utd. ‘B’s 40 dolls was their highest total of season so far. Con. Club have scored 34 dolls in 4 of their 5 games.

Ab. Legion were the only team without a win so far but they put that right with a 4-2 win over Old Masters. The leg scores were 12-9, 15-19, 10-8. For The Legion B.Lacy, D.Sapey & J.Driver 8 each & P.Ealey 7. In reply for OM T.Downes 10, A.Woolloff included a 6 in his 9 dolls & M.Hall hit 7.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 12-11, 17-10, 12-7. For Utd. ‘A’ J.Gapper included a 6 in his 11 dolls, L.Clapton 10, S.Pugh 9 & G.Brown 8. For B.Spicer please read R.Norths write up. For Penlon T.Lach 8 & V.Smith 7.

College Oak overcame Ab.Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 14-14, 14-14, 18-9. For The Oak A.Pocock hit a cracking 13 dolls, P.Soden 10, S.Enock & D.Cross 9 each. Only F.Tracey could hit X-X-5. For Utd. ‘C’ A.Gregory 10, K.Souch 8 & P.Arnold 7. The Oak’s 46 dolls was their highest total of season so far.

Spread Eagle were a little unlucky not to beat The Fox but ended up with a creditable 3-3 draw. The leg scores were 12-17, 11-11, 13-12. For The Spread J.Bowler 11, B.Worrell & C.Crawford 7 each. In reply for The Fox M.Sheridan & M.Rusher 11 each & B.Parker 7. The Fox failed to win for the 1^st time this season and their 40 dolls was their lowest of the season so far.

Ab. Con. Club beat Ab. Utd. ‘c’ 4-2 with leg scores of 12-8,9-12, 13-9. For Con. Club T.Barratt 10, ‘new boy’ O.Gill9 & J.Simms 8. R.North throwing like a Jewish pig farmer managed just 1 doll. In reply for Utd. ‘c’ S.Martin 10 & A.Gregory 9.

Spread Eagle beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 with leg scores of 12-11,5-10, 16-14. For The Spread B.Worrell 8, S.Kinnaird & C.Crawford 7 each. In reply for Utd. ‘B’ M.Louch 9, P.Mulford 8 & D.Davies 7.

A cracking game saw Ab. Utd. ‘A’ overcome a spirited College Oak 4-2. The leg scores were 19-14, 14-14,16-16. For Utd. ‘A’ J.Gapper joined the ’13 club’, L.Clapton 11, G.Brown & T.Ward 9 each & P.Wright 7. For The Oak P.Soden 11, A.Pocock 10, S.Enock 9, F.Tracey & D.Cross 7 each. D.Cross could have earned The Oak a draw when needing 2 to win the 3rd leg managed just 1 (t****r).

In reply for The Oak D.Cross (fearing another adverse write up) hit 11, A.Pocock 8 & P.Soden 7. DJohns, standing in for F.Tracey managed just 1 doll (I shouldn’t have bothered, mate).

A disorganised Old Masters beat Ab. Utd. ‘c’ 5-1 with leg scores of 13-12, 14-14, 14-11. For OM R.Lewis 11, T.Downes & A.Woollof9 each. For Utd ‘c’ A.Gregory 11, K.Souch 9 & S.Martin 8. Thanks to D.Sapey for making a guest appearance due to the late arrival ofG.Barguss (I’m going to get him a b****y watch for Xmas).

After a shaky start Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Ab. Con. Club 5-1 with leg scores of 13-13, 14-11, 18-10. For Utd. ‘A’ J.Gapper top scored for the 2^nd week running with 11 dolls. B.Spicer & G.Brown 9 each, L.Clapton & B.Carter 8 each. For Con. Club M.Hall ( guesting) 9 & J.Simms 8.

Penlon recorded a rare win when beating Spread Eagle 4-2 with leg scores of 14-9,9-9,9-9. For Penlon T.Lach & M.Jeffries 8 each. For The Spread J.Bowler managed 7 dolls.

A disgruntled Fox (that’s not like them!!!! ) beat Ab.Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 with leg scores of 11-12,20-12, 15-14. For The Fox D.Butler 12, B.Parker 11, G.Chambers 9 & D.Rusher 8. For Utd. ‘B’ P.Milford (the well known typing error) top scored with 12 dolls, D.Davies 9 & B.Clapton 8.

The Fox beat Old Masters 5-1 to replace them at the top of the table. The leg scores were 15-13,21-12, 16-16 but this does not show the full picture. In the 1st leg J.Barguss needing 2 to draw managed to blob (sorry about that mate ), while in the 3^rd leg B.Parker needing 5 to draw duly obliged, this after hitting a 6 in the 2nd leg. M.Sheridan top scored for The Fox with a brilliant 5-5-5, B.Parker 14, G.Chambers 10 & M.Rusher 8. For OM T.Downes 10, M.HaIl9, A.Woolloff & R.Lewis 8 each.

A cracking game saw College Oak beat Spread Eagle 4-2 with leg scores of 16-15, 17-15, 11-16. For The Oak D.Cross 11, P.Soden, A.Pocock & S.Enock 9 each. For The Spread N.Tame & J.Bowler 10 each, K.Empson & B.Newman 9 each & B.WorraIl8.

Ab.Utd. ‘A’ moved into 2nd place after beating Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2, despite them being short ofL.Clapton & J.Gapper. The leg scores were 13-12,8 (yes eight) 14, 11-10. For Utd. ‘A’ Graham ‘Golden Balls’ Brown 9, S.Pugh 8 & B.Carter 7. B.Spicer managed just 2 dolls – you might have been better off standing with your back to the doll and throwing the sticks over your shoulder Bill. For Utd. ‘B’ Brian ‘Cracker’ Clapton top scored with 9, P.Mulford & D.Davies 8 each & I.Morrison 7.

Four man Fox beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 12-11, 15-12, 14-12. For The Fox D.Butler & R.Berry 11 each, B.Parker 10 & G.Chambers 9. In reply for Penlon T.Phipps 11 & T.Lach 10. V.Smith throwing like an over zealous Arabian camel sexer (I worry about the state of my mind sometimes) managed just 3 dolls.

Spread Eagle beat Old Masters 4-2 with leg scores of 12-13, 12-9, 12-11. For The Spread B.Worrell 11, N.Tame 8 & B.Newman 7. For OM J.Barguss 9, T.Downes & A.Woolloff 8 each.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 with leg scores of 20-14, 14-11, 8-11. For Utd. ‘A’ L.Clapton 11, G.Brown & P.Wright 9 each. For Utd. ‘B’ the brilliant Brian ‘Cracker’ Clapton top scored with 10 dolls. D.Davies hit 9 & I.Morrison 7.

Ab. Legion needing to win 6-0 to ensure a play off for runners up spot suffered a 2-4 defeat to College Oak. The leg scores were 8-12, 14-11, 14-17. For The Legion N.Hazell & J.Driver 8 each, N.Tait & D.Sapey 7 each. For The Oak P.Soden & A.Pocock 10 each, D.Cross 9 & F.Tracey 7 each.

The last game of the season saw Ab. Con. Club draw 3-3 with Ab. Utd. ‘C’. The leg scores were 11-13, 12-12, 11-9. For The Con. Club D.Rusher top scored with 12 dolls but the rest were c**p. For Utd. ‘c’ A.Gregory 9, K.Souch & D.Harris 8 each & S.Martin 7. The write up for P.Amold reads exactly the same as that for V.Smith.

Ab. Utd. ‘c’ beat a disgruntled Ab. Legion 5-1 with leg scores of 11-11, 14-10, 12-9. For Utd. ‘c’ B.Carter (guesting) hit 10 dolls, S.Martin 9 & A.Gregory 7. In reply for The Legion M.Foster 8 & P.Ealey 7. Legions 30 dolls was their lowest total of the season so far.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ secured the league title tonight with a 3-3 draw against College Oak. The leg scores were 9-15, 16-16, 14-8. For Utd. ‘A’ T.Ward 12 & G.Brown 11. For The Oak P.Soden 11, A.Pocock 10, D.Cross 9 & D.Johns hit 8 despite a blob. S.Enock throwing like an under nourished Victorian soot juggler managed just 1 doll.

Ab. Con. Club beat Spread Eagle 4-2 with leg scores of 13-8, 14-16, 14-7. For Con. Club D.Rusher 13, R.North (who subsequently failed a dope test) hit 11 & T.Barrett 7. For The Spread N.Tame 9 & J.Bowler 8. Con. Clubs 41 dolls was their highest total of the season so far.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 18-8, 15-13, 17-13. For Utd. ‘B’ P.Milford included a 6 in his 13 dolls & D.Davies also hit 13, B.Clapton 10, M.Louch & M.Davies 7 each. For Penlon Skinnier (guesting) included a 6 in his 11 dolls & T.Phipps hit 7. Utd. ‘B’s 50 dolls was their highest total of the season.

Ab. Con. Club recorded their first 6-0 win of the season. It was against bottom side Penlon and the leg scores were 11-9, 15-10, 11-8. For Con. Club the returning T.Barrett top scored with 11 dolls & D.Rusher hit 10. For Penlon T.Lach 10 & D.Bond 8. B.Timms guesting for Penlon threw like a severely frost bitten Siberian postman and managed just 1 doll.

Ab. Legion beat Old Codgers 4-2 with leg scores of 14-11, 14-9, 12-15. For The legion M.Foster 11, D.Sapey 8, N.Tait & J.Driver 7 each. For OM J.Barguss 9, G.Barguss, A.Woolloff & R.Lewis 7 each. This result saw The Legion leapfrog OM into 2^nd place. (B******s).

College Oak beat Spread Eagle 4-2 with leg scores of 14-8, 10-13, 10-9. For The Oak F.Tracey 9, D.Cross 8, P.Soden & S.Enock 7 each. For The Spread B.Newman 9 & Connor ‘New kid on the block’ Crawford hit 8;

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat The Fox 4-2 with leg scores of 12-7, 13-11, 11-15. For Utd. ‘B’ I.Morrison 11, D.Davies 8 & B.Clapton 7. In reply for The Fox B.Parker 10, and their hide and seek champion D.Butler hit 7.

p.s. Next week it’s the Fives, Pairs & Captains Cup. Will start with either the Fives or the Pairs according to who can be bothered to turn up on time (sarky s*d). I will do what I can to get the games played as quickly as possible but need you to co-operate. Must get these outstanding games played tonight even if we have to play till 10-30. College Oak beat Penlon 6-0 with leg scores of 11-8, 14-10, 14-12. For The Oak P.Soden, A.Pocock & D.Cross 9 each & S.Enock 7. For Penlon T.Lach top scored with 10 dolls.

Old Masters struggled to a 4-2 over Ab.Utd. ‘B’ with leg scores of 9-8, 12-11, 10-14. For OM J.Barguss, T.Downes & R.Lewis 7 each. In reply for Utd. ‘B’ B.Clapton & D.Davies 8 each & P.Mulford 7. R.Lewis hit 5 off the anchor to win the 2^nd leg then followed it with a blob. OM’s 31 dolls was their lowest total of the season so far. It’s a funny old game – except we cant see the funny side of it at the moment.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Ab.Legion 6-0 with leg scores of 12-11, 18-14, 12-9. For Utd. ‘A’ P.Wright & L.Clapton 11 each & T.Ward 8. In reply for The Legion D.Sapey 10 & M.Foster 7. I think this result just about ensures the title for Utd. ‘A’ and makes it all about the runners up spot.

Spread Eagle beat Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 4-2 with leg scores of 10-15, 11-8, 15-11. For The Spread B.WorreIl 12, J.Bowler 9 & N.Tame 7. Bob’s 12 dolls was his first double figures of the season – well done. For Utd. ‘C’ A.Gregory 10, D.Harris 8 & S.Martin 7.

Penlon won their first game of the season 4-2 against Ab. Utd. ‘c’ with leg scores of 13-11, 14-4 (yes four), 7-12. For Penlon T.Lach included a 6 in his 13 dolls & M.Jeffries hit 7. In reply for Utd. ‘c’ S.Martin 10 & A.Gregory 7. P.Arnold throwing like a limp wristed Russian trapeze artist managed just 1 doll.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat Spread Eagle 6-0 to extend their lead at the top and are looking good to win their 4^th title in 5 years. The leg scores were 17-10, 14-13, 15-10. For Utd. ‘A’ P.Wright 12, G.Brown & L.Clapton 10 each, T.Ward & B.Spicer 7 each. For The Spread S.Kinnaird & B.Newman 8 each.

Old Masters drew 3-3 with Ab. Con. Club with leg scores of 11-11, 16-10, 10-11. For OM A.Woolloff & J.Barguss 10 each & R.Lewis 8. For Con. Club M.Haynes 9 & D.Rusher 8. OM have now dropped 8 points in 3 games and I think Rigor Mortis has set in. C’mon lads this is getting embarrassing now.

The Fox (fielding a full side) beat College Oak 4-2 with leg scores of 12-8, 15-12, 15-18. For The Fox ‘Tichy Baby’ Bell hit 12, B.Parker 11, C.Smith (where the hell did he spring from) & G.Chambers 7 each. In reply for The Oak S.Enock 10, A.Pocock 9, P.Soden 8 & F.Tracey 7.

Ab. Legion beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 with leg scores of 11-10, 16-13, 7-10. For The Legion M.Foster 10, N.Tait 9 & N.Hazell 7. For Utd. ‘B’ I.Morrison 9, B.Clapton & D.Davies 8 each.
