Game reports.

Spread Eagle ‘B’ recorded their highest total of the season (56) in beating The Vine 6-0.  The leg scores were 18-13, 21-15, 17-15.  For Spread ‘B’ B.Stowell and L.Clapton 11 each, A.Bell and I.Brook 10 each & R.Nicholls hit 8.  For The Vine D.Hamilton & J.Pownceby 9 each, S.Peedell 8 and M.Dingle 6.

A close game saw Ab.Legion draw 3-3 with Ab. Utd. ‘C’ who avoided defeat for only the 2nd time this season.  The leg scores were 11-11, 15-14, 13-15.  For The Legion S.Champ, P.Ealey & N.Hazell 6 each.  In reply for Utd. ‘C’ M.James 10 and M.Ashmall 6.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ drew 3-3 with The Heathens with leg scores of 14-14, 14-19, 17-16.  For Utd. ‘A’ D.Dix 14, B.Parker hit 10 including scoring with last 2 sticks in the 3rd leg to secure the leg and the draw.  B.Duff, D.Davies & T.Ward all scored 7.  For The Heathens P.Adams included a 6 in his 14, P.Longford 10, D.Holmes & A.Woolloff 9 each and B.Townsend hit 7.

Ab. Con. Club beat Spread Eagle ‘A’ 4-2 with The Spread equalling their lowest total of the season (31).  The leg scores were 13-10, 15-7, 10-12.  For Con. Club B.Clapton, T.Barrett & P.Barrett 8 each.  In reply for The Spread J.Bowler 8 and J.Simmons 6.

Penlon beat Ab. Utd. ‘B’ 4-2 with leg scores of 19-14, 14-12, 14-15.  For Penlon D.Bellcourt10, P.Wright 9, I.Morrison 8 & T.Phipps 6.  For Utd. ‘B’ D.Harris 9, S.Martin & J.Lesiakowski each had a blob in their 7 apiece and R.Taylor 6.
