Game reports.

Ab. Utd. ‘A’ beat an inspired Ab. Utd. ‘C’ 5-1 with leg scores of 19-13, 15-14, 15-15.  For Utd. ‘A’ B.Parker 13, D.Dix & D.Davies 11 each ( Daves first double of the season ), T.Ward & B.Duff 7 each.  In reply for Utd. ‘C’

C.Keeley & M.James both recorded their first double figures ( 10 each ), M.Ashmall & Jon Warrell 6 each.  Utd. ‘C’ would have scored their highest total even without the handicap.

A subdued Heathens beat Penlon 5-1 with leg scores of 11-8, 11-11, 15-14.  For The Heathens B.Townsend included a 6 in his 10, P.Longford 8, A.Woolloff 7, D.Holmes & T.Downes 6 each.  For Penlon D.Bellcourt 9, P.Wright 8, T.Lach 7 and I.Morrison 6.

Ab. Legion recorded their 4th 6-0 win on the trot with their latest victims being Spread Eagle ‘C’.  The leg scores were 18-10, 13-10, 16-11.  For The Legion S.Champ & C.Brind 11 each, N.Hazell & D.Sapey 10 each.  For Spread ‘C’ B.Robbins & P.Soden 9 each.  P.Brown put the fact that he managed only 1 doll down to his piles having flared up again.

Spread Eagle ‘B’s lowest total of the season (40) was enough to see off Ab. Con. Club. The score was 4-2 and the leg scores were 13-9, 16-7, 11-13.  For Spread ‘B’ L.Clapton 13, B.Stowell 9, S.Enock 7 & N.Weston 6.  For Con. Club B.Clapton was again top scorer with 11dolls & P.Barrett hit 8.

Ab. Utd. ‘B’ beat Spread Eagle ‘A’ 6-0 with leg scores of 8-4, 12-7, 9-8.  The Spread recorded their lowest total of the season so far (19) but they were a man short.  For Utd. ‘B’ S.Martin 9, R.Taylor 7 & K.Empson hit 6.  S.Kinnaird throwing like a one armed German sausage maker managed 3 blobs. T*****.  Fill the blanks in yourselves.
